From Then, To Now

My name is Makenzie and I am the owner, baker, and designer for EverCrave Cookiery. I am a local Nevadan, born and raised in the Reno/Sparks area. Baking is in my blood! I first began baking when I was 6 years old with my grandmother in Garderville, Nevada. She learned to bake from her grandmother who hand-painted sugar cookies in the 1940’s. Even though I didn’t pick up this particular skill until 2024, I began decorating cakes in 2012 and instantly fell in love. I have been spending my weekends and evenings baking bread, pastries, and treats since then.

Let’s Get Personal

I married my college sweetheart, Samuel, in 2023 and we currently reside in Sparks with our two fur babies. We enjoy spending our spare time traveling, attending local events, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with family and friends.

My day job is a wedding & events planner, so I understand the importance of details not only in the big events, but in the small moments that make them memorable. I love to dream big, and do big! So let me make the details of your next event just a little sweeter!
